Hanson Bay Sanctuary is 3,485 hectares of protected native animal habitat.

• Hanson Bay Sanctuary features the famous Koala Walk.
• This is the old avenue for the sheep station where they lined the driveway with hundreds of Koala food trees.
• Walk around the trees whilst spotting wild Koalas in a maintained habitat. In the late afternoon the Kangaroos and Wallabies come out to feed for the night.

We offer the self guided Koala stroll ($2.50 PP) or the guided Nocturnal walk at sunset ($20-$10PP). This is a 90 minute educational tour talking about animals and trees and how they all work together.

We offer six beach front cabin accommodation, the large Homestead or the Koala Walk backpackers accommodation.
