Willunga Creek Wines/Black Duck Cellars

0 reviews | Write a review

Willunga Creek Wines is the realisation of the life-long dreams of David and Julie Cheesley.

It has also been their labour of love since 1994, for it was that year that they turned the first sod in the paddock up on the hills of Willunga and began to establish a vineyard in their little patch of McLaren Vale, one of Australia's premier grape growing regions.

Now with some 12 hectares planted out to Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with yeilds intentionally held back to give only 2.5 to 4 tonnes per acre. Since their first wine was released in 2002 , their produce has been coming into notice of wine judges and journalists around the globe.

A Gold Medal fo the Willunga Creek 2005 Black Duck Merlot at the 2007 London International Wine Challenge takes pride of place amongst a growing collection of awards and positive reviews from around the world.

David and Julie invite you to join them in the wonderful world of wine discovery and enjoyment.
