Old Clarendon Winery 

We had a very unsatisfying night at the clarendon winery! We had a 70th birthday booked there with 40+ guests. The staff were rude, the food was overpriced, overcooked, and not very appealing at all. The live band that was playing had the music up as loud as it could go and everyone in the restaurant had to stand outside all night to talk. Even over dinner many of the guests asked for the music to be dulled down a bit so that we could hear each other speak but they would not turn it down even a little bit. Even the manager/owner came out and was very very rude to a guest with a large attitude when we had only asked nicely if the amplifiers could be turned down a bit over dinner! This made everyone very angry. What ever happened to the customers always right? To top the night off, we had booked for 40+ people so they should have been organised but they ran out of schnitzels and at least 5 of the guest had to go without food and spend the next 45 minutes trying to get their money back from them. We were absolutely disgusted with the whole night. We will never go back there and tell all our friends how rude the staff and owner are. I hope this helps everyone. Go there at your own risk, but be prepared for the worst night of your life.
