Coffin Bay National Park has a diverse coastal landscape including high, windswept cliffs, massive dunes and pounding surf beaches of the Southern Ocean contrast with sheltered bays.

Away from the coast there are sand dunes and limestone pavements, patches of sheoak and low-lying samphire swamps abound with birds as well as dryland tea-trees cover limestone areas.

Camping is allowed only in areas shown on the map. Toilet facilities and limited rain water are provided at most of the camping areas. Please don’t rely on the water, as supply is seasonal. Rainwater is available at the ranger station.

There are many walking trails within the park. Suggested routes are shown on the map. These mainly follow old vehicle tracks. Many of the beaches are also pleasant to wander along. If you choose an extended walk, please let a reliable person know your proposed route and expected time of return. Always carry adequate supplies of food and water.
