Keyneton is a small township located on the eastern borders of the Barossa Valley and Barossa Hills region. Just southeast of Angaston, Keyneton is a perfect place to relax in the peaceful vineyards, cottages and undulating loams of the stunning landscape.
The village was pioneered by Joseph Keynes, a pastoralist in 1842. It is set in the big gum country on the road towards the famous Murray River. Keyneton is a pretty country village with just around a dozen buildings, most of them dating from the mid-late 1800s and the German and European origins of the area.
