Charles Flaxman received a loan from George Angas (namesake of Angaston) to invest in land in South Australia. He travelled to Australia aboard the Prince George in 1838. He bought land in the Barossa, and Flaxman Valley is named after him.
Flaxman Valley is an area of rich soil and perfect climactic conditions for wine production. Just west of Eden Valley, Flaxman Valley enjoys much the same prosperity and success of the inhabiting vineyards and wine cellars.
Flaxman Valley is situated in a rural setting, ensuring complete peace and tranquillity.
