My husband and I have very stressful jobs so we look forward to our Daydream Island holiday because we know it’s one of the only places we can truly relax. Daydream Island offers everything we could possibly need from a beautiful day spa, fantastic food, through to a variety of activities on offer.
We also have two young children and it’s nice to find a holiday destination that caters to their needs as well as ours. They just love feeding the fish and going for a swim.
We have been coming to Daydream Island now for three years and will continue to choose this location as our preferred holiday spot. Other friends have visited Daydream on our recommendation and have had the same wonderful experience as we do.

Daydream Island is very disappointing. School leavers seem to run the place and most are unprofessional and don't seem to know what they're doing, especially at the pool bar where they make very bad cocktails with bad attitude for $14.50 each. Small children are everywhere, one of the pools needs to be for adults only, but it's not. At mealtimes children are running and screaming all over the place, however there is a "Quiet Room" for adults only, but it was hard to get a table because so many couples wanted to eat there to get away from the main dining area. In the evenings you can't enjoy a drink near the bar the listen to the great band because of so many children running/ crawling/ screaming around the band. This island only caters for families with children. Snorkelling gear costs $15 per day, there should be no charge for that and should be an inclusion in your stay. Save your money and go to Fiji or Thailand where it's cheaper and the people are beautiful and look after you.
