Sea Star Apartments 

WOW we stayed at Seastar for a week in November. It is beautiful. Jo & Gary were very friendly and helpful, happy to help us choose tours and book them for us. Happy to help us have the best time possible. The rooms are large and fresh and clean with amazing views from the apartment as well as the balcony. It's a joy to sit on the private balcony and relax with a cool drink, the friendly cockatoos and take in the wonderful vistas. We would recommend Seastar to anybody wanting to holiday in Airlie Beach. The hill is a bit of a hike back up but an easy five minutes walk down town. We found the taxis were happy to bring us back up for about $6.00 so well worth it for the views. Thank you Seastar.

The best!!! Wonderful hosts.....clean, bright apartments with everything you could ask for... fab views... fab pool. Managers booked our island visits, we got picked up and taken care of... no hassle, what more could you ask for :) we had the best time ever... bit of a hill to climb... nothing too hard, few minutes from town, but can get taxi for a few dollars if want. Would advise all to book in and enjoy your holiday at Sea Star.

It is a hard walk from Airlie Beach and the service is terrible. I had to cut my holiday short as the way myself and my young family were treated was terrible and can’t believe that they deal with customers there. I have never had a problem with a motel before, the views and facilities are good but the walk for elderly people is hard as the car has difficulty getting there. People have been feeding cockatoos and they patrol the balconies for food or paper, so overall my experience was bad. Airlie as a whole is a great place with the best island and reef destinations in the world and should not be avoided because a few of rouge traders such as this one.

We cannot say enough good things about Sea Star Apartments, Airlie Beach. Everything from the booking to the welcome to the stay to the check-out was absolutely wonderful. Our reservation was made by telephoning the resort directly and we were given the lowest price advertised on several discount websites, which was $180/night for the 2-bedroom, 2nd floor apartment. We arrived a little early but our room was ready and we were directed to our lock-up garage personally by the friendly manager who proceeded to chat to us about the property and area, answering all of our questions without hesitation. We were pleasantly surprised to find our apartment was larger than expected and the view from almost every room was absolutely breathtaking. The lounge, kitchen, main bedroom and wrap-around balcony provided unobstructed beach and mountain views that were a delight to wake up to each day. During the 2 nights/3 days we stayed at Sea Star Apartments we spent quite a bit of time relaxing on the balcony, swimming in the infinity wet-edge pool and watching DVD's from our air-conditioned lounge room. I have posted quite a few photos that I took of the property and the amazing views that can be seen from almost every room. I highly recommend this resort to anyone planning on visiting Airlie Beach as it provides value for money, absolute luxury, incredible views and a relaxing holiday that will guarantee you'll be back for more. We certainly will!
