Cobb & Co Museum 

The Cobb & Co Museum offer visitors a fascinating insight into Australia's colourful heritage and an excellent introduction to the history of the Darling Downs region.

50 vehicles, including sturdy drays and farm wagons, tell the story of European settlement on the Darling Downs, while sulkies and buggies demonstrate transportation imported to Australia during the 1880's. Elaborate Phaetons, Victoria and Landau carriages give a glimpse of the grandeur of times when life's pace was a little slower. The original Cobb & Co Coaches, including the last coach which ran from Yuleba to Surat in 1924, are the pride of the collection.

Special tours by professional staff are available for group bookings and provide an entertaining and comprehensive guide to the Museum. Bookings are essential. Children are not forgotten, with Special Family Activity Booklets, children's interactive play area, The Coach Stop and jigsaws for the younger ones to enjoy.

Cobb+Co Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the heritage trades that help build Australia and conducts regular workshops including blacksmithing, leather work, whip making and silversmithing
