Boreen Point 

Boreen Point is a village on the shores of lovely Lake Cootharaba, the largest lake of the Noosa River system. It is about 20 kilometres by sealed road from Tewantin. A haven for sailing and boating enthusiasts, Boreen Point has holiday cottages, a general store, caravan parks and boat hire facilities.

Boreen Point is the home of a sailing club, which stages major sailing and sailboarding events in the Sunshine Coast area. Overlooking the lake are popular Restaurants and shops to peruse.

Boreen Point is great for the sports enthusiast, not only is it a fantastic destination for watersports, there are offroad driving tracks, walking tracks through the stunning surrounding bushland and some riveting mountain biking opportunities.
