Kondalilla is an Aboriginal word meaning 'rushing waters'. In this cool haven, Skene Creek plummets 90m over the falls to a rock pool below. The park shelters five rare and threatened frog species as well as the rare bopple nut.

From here, walkers can choose the easy 2.4 kilometre Picnic Creek circuit or the moderate 3.2 kilometre Rock Pools walk.
