Delicia Road Conservation Park

0 reviews | Write a review

About 105km north of Brisbane, near Mapleton, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland lies this tranquil touch of nature. This small park protects remnant forest communities of the scenic Blackall Range. It is a refuge for wildlife and a special place for visitors to enjoy a peaceful native forest.

If you have an hour to spare, take the easy 2.2 kilometre Linda Garrett circuit through the rainforest. This circuit leads through a palm grove and tall wet eucalypt forest dominated by blackbutt, turpentine, brush box and flooded gum.

  • Birdwatchers may also be fortunate enough to hear calls of the endangered marbled frogmouth whilst exploring the day away.
