Thulimbah is a town in the Southern Downs with more orchards and more fruit in season than most, but there's a bit of a difference between Thulimbah and the neighbouring towns that make up 'The Fruit Run'. At Thulimbah, one of the families that provide a 'value-add' service are targeted during the fruit season.
At Thulimbah, travellers get to learn about the farm-tours, operated by the Giacosa family. This fruit grower not only sells products on-farm, but whenever the season permits, there's the side benefit of doing a tour. Just check the signage at the front gate to ascertain tour details.
