Kominos Wines 

Kominos Wines has been growing and making wines commercially for 23 years on granite belt wine country. Picturesque vineyards surround this stunning Australiana designed winery. A great deal of scientific rationale was employed in establishing and developing this winery on the high altitude (850-1000m) granite belt.

Wine releases from the 21st "coming of age " vintage performed well, winning the 2006 Trophy for Most Successful Queensland exhibitor at the Brisbane RNA Wine Show as well as the 2006 Trophy for Most successful Queensland Exhibitor at the Australian Small Winemakers Show. Another major award was a Gold Medal at the 2006 NZ International Wine Show in Auckland and also the Trophy for Best Cabernet Sauvignon at the 2006 National Cool Climate Wine Show.

Kominos Wines has been exporting wine to South East Asia for 10 years. Visitors are welcome to sample and buy at the winery cellar door. This is the only place to purchase particular releases not available elsewhere.
