Mount Mee is part of the D'Aguilar Range and adjoins Brisbane Forest Park. It is a rewarding place to visit, with many rocky waterholes, cool streams and rainforest walks. The Somerset trail offers magnificent views over Lake Somerset and Lake Wivenhoe. From the Falls lookout you can see the picturesque Neurum Valley.
Mt Mee has panoramic views stretching from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast and overlooks the striking peaks of the Glass House Mountains. To the west is the Mt Mee State Forest, which has picnic facilities at the historic Gantry Day Use Area, and a camping area and rainforest walking tracks. Those in search of rural charm will enjoy a return trip from the mountains through the valley settlements of Dayboro and Samford Village
