Built on the historic site of the birthplace of rail in Queensland, The Workshops Rail Museum is a museum to have fun in and learn all about rail in Queensland through touching, driving, playing on and with all sorts of amazing rail equipment. Take a Behind the Scenes Tour of the Working Workshops, the oldest continually operating railway workshops in Australia, and see QR workers busily maintaining and restoring QR’s Heritage Rollingstock.
