Unfortunately this guest give poor foreign tourists a bad name. This lady was probably the most difficult person we have encountered in all the years that we have owned hotels and motels. She was not treated rudely in the restaurant in fact as many witnesses saw she totally embarrassed herself by making the biggest scene you have ever witnesses over a little error by the waiter, so much that other customers were laughing at her!!! The owner tried to rectify the problem but the lady was so irrational she left the restaurant without touching her main meal. The next morning by herself she came to reception and was so rude as to tell us how bad our food was (when she didn't touch her meal) and that Barcaldine was such a bad town and to make it worse totally insulted Australia altogether, not to mention the foul language she used, it is such a shame that such a miserable women gives New Zealand travellers a very bad name. We have had many international visitors stay with us who have nothing but good things to say, many have even become return guests.
