Hamilton Island is situated in the heart of the Whitsunday’s and is one of 74 tropical islands that lie between the Queensland Coast and The Great Barrier Reef. The whole island is a world-class resort and includes a village of boutique shops.

Idyllic coral fringed beaches provide the backdrop for an ideal tropical holiday experience. Hamilton Island features a marina complex complete with a superb yacht club, while the marina village offers great shopping and exciting restaurants and cafes.

Over 70% of Hamilton Island is protected as a national park, including Australian bushland, wildlife, remote beaches, spectacular lookouts & peaks and challenging but rewarding walking trails that traverse the island.

Visit Hamilton Island Koala Gallery that features a large collection of Australian native animals. 150 species of birds make the island their home and there are eucalypt bush walks to mountain peaks with 360 degree island views.

Any trip to Hamilton Island is incomplete without discovering the incredible natural formation that is the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkel under water gardens, scuba dive, take in the sights from the underwater viewing chamber or ride the semi-submersible submarine and skim over the reef surface.
