Paluma Range National Park is a mountainous park on the Paluma Range north-west of Townsville. The park offers dense rainforest, open forest, creek scenery, wildlife and panoramic views as well as a locked campground. There are lots of things to do in the park, picnicking, camping, bushwalking and birdwatching to name a few.
The picturesque waterfall on Waterview Creek (Jourama Falls), rainforest, vine forest and open woodland are protected in this section of Paluma Range National Park. Rainforest grows on the higher slopes and fringes the creek. Poplar gum, bloodwood, Moreton Bay ash and cocky apple trees are common in the open woodland.
