Tamborine Mountain 

The Tamborine Mountain area includes seven national parks with a variety of sub-tropical rainforest. Set in the Gold Coast hinterland 34 kilometres north west of Nerang, Tamborine Mountain towers 560 metres above the hinterland. Mount Tamborine is a long a favourite for romance and weddings with cosy hideaways, day spas and cabins, Tamborine will work its magic to find a place in your heart.

Tamborine National Park covers a large area of the mountain in several sections, with abundant rainforest, waterfalls, excellent picnic facilities and walking tracks. Picnic at The Knoll and Witches Falls, see cycads at Zamia Grove or check out the landscape on a lookout.

The mountain hosts a myriad of galleries and displays of art and crafts, in addition to the many nurseries and restaurants. It also has one of the Gold Coast's two wineries in Hartley Road, North Tamborine.

Markets are a plenty with fresh produce and other regular events. Late September view Springtime on the Market, a floral festival with a rainbow of colours. Tamborine district demands attention and time. You won’t regret an investment in either.
