Tugun 

Tugun may be one of the smallest destinations on the Gold Coast, but by no means is it the drabbest. Tugun and Tugun Hill are tucked away from mainstream traffic with a wonderful stretch of beach.

A long-time holiday favourite for families and friends, this area has plenty on offer – the renowned Currumbin Oceanway begins at Tugun Surf Club and is a great scenic walk for southeast Queensland. Take a detour and pass over a quaint bridge through Kropp Park. A secret, hidden wetland is tucked away from the beach. This is a magnificent site of relatively untouched habitat that provides great bird and animal watching for visitors.

There is a range of accommodation and restaurants that cater to your every wish. There are street cafes, fish and chip shops and restaurants to tantalise your taste buds.

For a unique experience, increase the heart rate try skydiving going on an aerial adventure from nearby Gold Coast Airport.
