Ideal for families

Posted by pina_cat from Kingaroy, Australia

As a family we have been staying here every Easter for over 10 years now and have never had a complaint towards this accommodation. We have stayed on many different floors and changed up to the three bedroom apartments over the years due to a growing family. The apartments main living area's are very roomy and the views from either side of the building are always exceptional towards Surfers or south towards Coolangatta.

The units are self contained and only once (the first ever visit) did we have to buy containers to store items in the fridge. All other visits we have never had to supplement anything from the kitchen. The building is getting old, but we have been there when outside maintenance and painting has been done to keep it updated and fresh. Like any normal accommodation, inside the apartments can show some wear and tear.

The heated pool is a convenience for days when the weather is foul. The games room is minimal if you had older children, but in this day and age many would take their own systems to connect in their room.

Road access throughout the Coast is easy from here. Up or down the GC highway or up Christine Ave (at nearest intersection) to gain access to Robina for shopping or new NRL footy stadium.

The beach opposite the apartments has the North Burleigh Life Savers club and the beach is always manned for safe swimming. A short 5 minute stroll will bring you to the GC highway and the usual little shopping village. Recently a Coles has been built, along with a common coffee outlet, bottlo's, bakery, chemist, etc.

The only two downers I can put on this place is when the weather turns cold and the wind is blowing - bring your winter woollies - it gets extremely cold out on the balcony. The second is if you’re going to have any Pay TV - make it more worthwhile instead of sports.
