Mount Perry is home to a number of parks, one being the Memorial Park which is located next to the Council Office in Heusman Street.
A World War I Turkish 37mm Field Gun (No. 648), which was captured by the Australian Light Horse, is on display within the park. It is registered in the Australian War Memorial Register of War Trophies as # K76.
The park features information detailing the area, as well as public amenities including showers - available free to the public.
