Wellington Point 

Redland’s northernmost suburb of Wellington Point is flanked by exotic Moreton Bay. A wealth of reserves and picnic spots and panoramic views compliment this Oceanside locality. Filled with renovated Queenslanders and old period homes, Wellington Point is a charming diversion if looking to break up a trip to Moreton Bay.

An eye catcher in the village centre is the Wellington Point Clock Tower. Reminiscent of European villages, the tower was donated to the community in 1997 by Tanja’s Cafe to mark the 25th anniversary of the popular rendezvous.

There are a host of good eateries, Botanix Cafe and Tanja's Cafe & Restaurant are all highly recommended.

Things to do

• There are a number of safe swimming beaches and boat-launching facilities
• Wellington point Reserve has sheltered tables & BBQs. Boating, fishing and windsurfing are also all possible here
• Take a stroll down the Wellington Point Jetty
