Sub-tropical Redland Bay seems a million miles away from Brisbane, but it isnt. Forming part of larger Moreton Bay, it is often the first port of call for boats heading to Russell Island, Macleay Island, Karragarra Island, Lamb Island and North Stradbroke Island.

Things to do

  • Cruise the bay or island hop. Regular ferry and barge services depart for Russell, Lamb, Macleay & Karragarra
  • Every Sunday Bayside markets bring the town centre alive
  • Explore nearby North Stradbroke Island or Moreton Bay
  • The area is known for great fishing and secluded beaches
  • Have a picnic at Victoria Point on the beach at Coochiemudlo
  • Play golf, there is a major gold course here
  • Walk of cycle the many tracks dotted throughout the area
  • Try strawberries at the annual ‘Spring Festival’
