A peninsula created by the meanders of the Brisbane River, the features of its sheer sandstone cliffs and the imposing dimensions of the Story Bridge dominate Kangaroo Point.
The cliffs are now a favourite picnic spot and provide the challenge for rock climbers and abseilers. The riverside walk includes sculptures and an interesting array of design winning shelters. The walk continues to the Story Bridge, which spans above an area of prolific change as new apartments, cafes and bars take shape.
