Larrimah is a small settlement on the Stuart Highway, positioned half way between Darwin and Tennant Creek, and is 180 km south of Katherine. It is one of the Northern Territory's most historic towns, originating as a World War II staging camp with more than 3,000 servicemen stationed there.
