Joes right, great fishing around the islands, 30 quality reef fish in 2 hours. Coral Trout, Parrot Fish, Cod, Sweet Lip, Finger Print and others. All were kept, but I was fishing with locals and the extras were given to others in the community.
BE WARNED: Do not expect to be welcome to camp on these islands, locals tell me some are closed, but you can fish around them.
Check this with King Ash Bay staff!
Watch the weather, it can blow up real damn quick out there.
Keep an eye out, some large rocky reefs, where you least expect them, around the top end of West Is. and others I believe.
