The Pub lost its licence in late 06 and things don't look like changing in the near future! - Its Accom. is still open.

XXXX Gold, only, may be purchased from the supermarket between 2.30 and 5.30pm

The only BYO Pub I have ever stayed at, but you can still have a good night there with some locals!

Air
There are more regular flights in now, due to mining activity. Contact Chartair, Darwin for more information

Road
Flooding can be quick and extensive, closing the highway for a couple of days! In Feb, 07, I was stuck there for 2 days. Do not travel at night in conventional cars. Cattle, pigs and other wildlife make night driving very dangerous. I drive it frequently.

Coach
Pickup/Drop off can now be arranged at Daly Waters, I believe, But you are still 350+kms away from Borroloola.
