Howard Springs is a rural area on the outskirts of Darwin, just 30 kilometres from the centre of town. Mango farms and picturesque rustic surrounds make it a relaxing alternative base from which to explore Darwin.

Howard Springs Nature Park is a great place to swim and snorkel in natural springs with the huge barramundi that live there.

Flower fans can visit Jenny's Orchid Farm to see five acres of stunning tropical orchids or keen anglers can try the Barramundi Fishing Park for a spot of fishing close to town.

Getting There

  • Road: The Stuart Highway is a sealed all weather road.
  • Coach: There are no coach transfers to Howard Springs.
