Yulara lies at the entrance to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, 18 km from Ayers Rock / Uluru. Yulara, is a friendly modern service town with a wide range of accommodation and facilities catering for visitors to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

The Resort features different levels of accommodation from 5 star hotel, apartment style, budget and camping. There is a commercial centre with supermarket, bank, newsagent and food outlets. Yulara also has a service station, a Royal Flying Doctor Service clinic, police station and fire service. Ayers Rock Airport located a few Yulara kilometres from the Resort is linked by daily Qantas flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Cairns and Alice Springs.

Air: The airport is 8 kilometres from Ayers Rock Resort. Daily flights are available on both commercial airlines and private charter companies. A shuttle service and taxis meet each flight.
Road: The Lasseter Highway is a sealed all weather road
Coach: McCafferty's and Greyhound Pioneer offer daily services to Uluru AAT Kings operate a one way express service. Uluru Express operate a mini bus service from Yulara to Ayers Rock and The Olgas every 45 minutes. A free shuttle bus circles Yulara town passing each resort every 15 minutes and operates 7 days a week
