Jay Creek is the Trailhead for Sections 2 and 3 of the Larapinta Trail.
Keep an eye out for the wallabies which take shelter in the boulders and overhangs. If you are walking east from Jay Creek along section 2, you pass through a large area of Mulga Woodland.
Jay Creek flows from the north-west through a rugged gorge for about 1km, cutting through the Chewings Range.
Further Information
Jay Creek can be accessed from Old Hamilton Downs Homestead via the Tanami Road. Camping is permitted for Larapinta Trail walkers only.
