Just came back from a tour in the right now very cold Red Center. Despite our very chilly nights and lack of sleep this tour was really, really good. Our hilarious guide Leith kept us all very entertained but combined his craziness with great insights about the aboriginal people and the sacred places we were visiting. The passion, the will to share his knowledge and the energy of our guide made us all really energetic about our trip even though we were tired and cold.
If I have to say anything negative about the trip it would have to be that we didn't have a complete first aid-kit and that we didn't get to fill out feedback forms - both important things in their own way.
Keep up the good work with The Rock Tour and give Leith a raise =)
Just done the tour to Kings Canyon and Uluru with JP. Was excellent! Totally had a blast, even if we did get wet camping under the stars.
Good tour, Excellent host and excellent pepople on the trip.
Would recommend.

Having travelled for nearly one year we found that Leiths passion was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.

Don't get me wrong, Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon etc was brill, but our tour guide never got anyone to interact, & he never made any effort to explain thing or tell us anything really about the place.
The food was very poor, Ido not feel that we got our money's worth. It was 295+25 entry fee and I couldn't see where this money was spent.
Response from The Rock Tour
The Tour guide in question is no longer with the company and the food has been upgraded. The ironic thing was that the whole group, including the complainant, came out for after dinner drinks and told us the tour was fantastic! Its tough to please everyone!

Me and my mate Dave did this trip last week with Will and Mikey and it was the best thing we did in the year in Oz. Keep up the good work fellas!
Thanks fellas. Great to hear positives and that you took the time to write them up on totaltravel. Most people use these forums to be negative!
