Alice Springs Cultural Precinct

0 reviews | Write a review

The Alice Springs Cultural Precinct is home to some of the most interesting cultural and historical attractions in Alice Springs. It encompasses performing and visual arts, the natural history of the region, Aboriginal culture and the more recent European settlement.

A walking tour around the Precinct provides a fascinating glimpse of the history of Central Australia, and of some of the local identities who helped to build both the town of Alice Springs and the Northern Territory.

The site is culturally significant to Aboriginal people of the area. There are seven registered sacred sites and trees of significance, belonging to the Two Women Dreaming Track, on the Precinct.
