The Long Paddock Cobb Highway Touring Route follows a historic route that is part of the great network of stock routes colloquially known as the Long Paddock. These days it is an easy self drive following 600 km of the Cobb Highway. Along the way expect to see the Murray, Edward, Murrumbidgee, Lachlan and Darling rivers. Cross the Victorian boarder at Echuca-Moama, and travel through Mathoura, Deniliquin, Pretty Pine, Wanganella, Booroorban, Hay, Booligal and Ivanhoe to the outback at Wilcannia. Stories of the historic route have been captured on interpretive panels along the way. Located at significant sites, they are a wonderful mixture of truths, tales, images and of course a guide of where to go.
