Georges River National Park

0 reviews | Write a review

This park features steep forested hillsides, plateaus and riverside flats, all of which conserve some of Sydney's best river habitat for native plants and animals. There are several popular riverside picnic areas, large and small, and a network of walking tracks.

Stroll around peaceful Yeramba Lagoon, home to more than 100 bird species, or walk along the Ridge Track, which offers spectacular river views.

Entry Fees

If you're driving into the park, you will need to purchase a vehicle day pass. This costs $7. The park is open 6am-6:30pm AEST and 6am-7:30pm DST. Visitors must display a valid user pass. There are coin-operated 'pay and display' machines at the gate (correct coins only, no change given).

  • If you're a regular visitor to NSW national parks, you can save on vehicle entry fees by buying an annual pass.
