The suburb of Castle Hill is right in the centre of the Baulkham Hills Shire. This is one of the biggest local government areas in NSW. Castle Hill is situated around 32km northwest of the Sydney CBD.
Castle Hill is the ideal base from which to explore heritage-rich Parramatta to the south and the quaint little town of Wiseman’s Ferry to the north. This is an area of diversity that has evolved from a small settlement set up to supplement the failing British colony in Sydney.
The largest residential area in Castle Hill is located at the two sides of Showground Road, sandwiched between the commercial and the industrial area. Castle Hill is an area of diverse people, landscapes and atmospheres in the Hills District.
