The Gap: The sheer cliff entrance to Port Jackson was the site of the famed shipwreck of the Dunbar in 1857 - considered to be the Sydney's worst maritime disaster -only one crew member survived from the 122 on board.
Macquarie Lighthouse: The country's first, completed in 1818 under the command of Governer Macquarie, designed by the famous convict architect Francis Greenway. Governer Macquarie was so satisfied with his work, he granted him emancipation.
