Currarong is a quiet little village situated on the northern end of the rocky Beecroft Peninsula. Only 33km south east of Nowra, Currarong is a great little hideaway. Located on a cape, Abrahams Bosom Beach is a safe sheltered beach, ideal for families and those that prefer still water swimming. There are good picnic grounds with BBQ facilities at either end.
There are a range of walking trails that cater for every fitness level. The peninsula cliffs are magnificent though they are unfenced. Families with small children are not advised. More walks with sheltered swimming are available near Point Perpendicular. The lookout covers great views of Jervis Bay and the lighthouse is a wonderful sightseeing opportunity.
