A crowning gem in the Sapphire Coast, Merimbula is a beautiful resort town midway between Sydney & Melbourne - 300km (3hrs) southeast of Canberra.

Merimbula also offers just about every activity you can imagine. For the kids theres Magic Mountain Recreation Park, home to 2 waterslides, pools, mini golf, and a toboggan run. For the adventures you can scuba dive, canoe, fish, take a joy flight, hire a boat, surf, cruise on the lake, test your kite boarding skills or join a bus tour to Bournda Island and Wallagoot Lake.

There are many great coastal walks to enjoy, from Rotary Walk to Fishpen, or go north to Bournda National Park and walk along its beautiful coastal trails.

Over the June long weekend the towns population of 4000 swells as the Merimbula Jazz festival kicks off with quality international and local acts.

Merimbula Aquarium: Located in the historic cargo sheds of the Merimbula Wharf. Extensive exhibits of fish and invertebrates, which live or visit the south coast. There are tropical fish, bottom dwellers, and venomous fish and tide pools. There is also a 70,000 litre tank display of ocean shoal fish
Merimbula's Magic Mountain: This is a Theme Park Fun for all the Family! The park consists of roller coasters, waterslides, putt-putt golf, mirror room plus lots more fun rides and activities for everyone. The park is also equipped with BBQ and picnic areas
Merimbula Marina: The Marina offers a large range of fishing charters, cruises of the bay and Dolphin Cruise, Whale Watching expeditions
