Dead Horse Gap exists between the Great Dividing Range at 1580m and the watershed between the Thredbo Snowy System and the Murray River.

Choose whether to walk the full distance of the Henry Angel Track head (being 12 km's) or a shorter walk. The Henry Angel Track head has a number of features such as viewing platforms, gold mining tunnels and waterfalls and is an amazing experience for all visitors.

  • The name reference is allegedly related to the wild brumbies that sometimes became caught in the area during unexpected snowfalls and died. There are some outstanding views into New South Wales and Victoria.
