Fabulous Snowies

Posted by a TotalTraveller

On the way to the Snowy mountians you will pass through great places, like Bredbo, where you can have a glass of Organic Cabernet Savingnon and a brilliant wood fired pizza at the Bredbo Pizzeria, they have cellar door sales, excellent coffee and cakes as well as Gelato.
Then its on to Cooma which is a bright and easy going town with heaps going on in the main street.
Cooma has gone ahead the last few years and there are new businesses everywhere.
We stayed at Ellstanmor Country Guesthouse and its a real old, informal place with a friendly family of hosts.
Ellstanmor also has a cottage called Cooma Cottage, which dates from 1860. Its self catered and very smart.
The lakes and Snow fields are stunning, but I like the villages.
