Temora also played a significant role in the aviation history of Australia. It was here that the RAAF established No 10 Elementary Flying Training School in May 1941. The Temora Aviation Museum has one of the finest collections of flying historic aircraft in Australia. The museum hosts flying weekends, once a month, where a selection of the aircraft takes to the skies.
