Highly recommend - great value!

Posted by lanes from Wallacetown, Australia

Thanks for a fantastic place to stay, we really felt at home. The birds are singing the garden is beautiful, all is in harmony. Barb and Doug's hospitality was wonderful and exceeded our expectations, they get the little things right!

The Real Meaning of Priceless

Posted by VictoriaRose from St Kilda West, Australia

I am the original 'weary traveller' needing to travel 6 months of the year for business reasons. How refreshing and relaxing to find such an oasis of peace, beauty and caring on my last trip. Being able to lie on the grass surrounded by lavender bushes with a gentle breeze and the warm sun and NO NOISE (except for the soothing voices of nature of course) was heaven. To return from an exhausting night's presentation and find the heating on, curtains drawn and even a little chocolate for me was unexpected and appreciated. Immaculately clean, this retreat is well worth your visit. (Sorry, only water views get "Truly spectacular").

Fantastic Hospitality

Posted by Olivia8 from Perth, Australia

The location was beautiful and serene, the accommodation luxurious and modern, but what made our stay was the hospitality of Barbara and Doug. We felt so at home - everything we needed for self catering and relaxation was thought of for us. We were given our space but also were able to ask Barbara and Doug advice when we needed it (great tip - The Bridge Steakhouse). We look forward to returning to Forget Me Not and staying even longer next time we can get to Wagga.

Well presented and very pleasant self contained cottage. Lovely staff who are reliable and friendly. Guaranteed for a great night's sleep and a place to relax, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Highly recommended.

A welcome cottage

Posted by jaysea from Manly, Australia

We recently stayed 4 nights in Forget Me Not Cottage and must say that it was one of the most delightful self-catering cottages we have experienced. The quality of the property and attention to comfort and detail was exceptional, it was extremely clean with new furnishings and offered every convenience.
The warmth and generosity of the owners will be long remembered. A welcome of chocolates and a bunch of beautiful roses with the invitation to "help yourselves to the oranges, lemons and grapefruit from the garden".
To watch the sunset while cooking on the barbecue in the private garden of roses and lavender, overlooking horses grazing in the paddocks, makes for a memorable evening.
A great place to stay and highly recommended.

Bad service

Posted by Lee27 from Hay NSW, Australia

Very pushy and in your face. Unable to relax. Felt uncomfortable, so we decided to leave before staying the night. Don't bother.

Response from Forget Me Not Cottages

Thank you for your feedback. We hope you understand that, in the interest of other guests, we are not in a position to cater for guests dogs. A phone call prior would have advised. We were very pleased to assist in finding kennels however this was not your choice. We are very pleased to offer our guests 4 star accommodation in relaxed garden surroundings with a friendly welcome, as our visitor’s book will show. You and your partner will be made most welcome should you choose to stay with us again.
