The track consists of three loops - short loop (3kms), Lake Talbot loop (7kms) and the Murrumbidgee loop (11kms) and follows a scenic route around Lake Talbot and the majestic Murrumbidgee River.
The track was designed to take advantage of the natural features such as rocky hills, gullies, high river banks, sandy beaches, irrigation channels and in some cases rough vehicular tracks. The round journey is 11kms long and takes about 4 hours to complete. The track passes across the top end of a koala reserve on the river.
