Tooloom National Park cover approximately 4390 hectares of the Koreelah range which is one of a number of dominant volcanic features in upper north east New South Wales. The Tooloom Scrub rainforest is World Heritage-listed, including important areas of red and flooded gum. There are 10 species of kangaroos and wallabies in the park, including the threatened long-nosed potoroo.
You can enjoy a quiet picnic or go on a bushwalk. With a choice of tracks from short and easy to something more challenging, you're sure to find one to suit your needs. Flora & Fauna This park contains the World Heritage-listed rainforest of the Tooloom Scrub, as well as important areas of red gum and flooded gum.
It provides habitat for threatened species such as Loveridge's Frog, Rufous Scrub-bird, Wompoo Fruit-Dove, Rose-crowned Fruit-Dove, Superb Fruit-Dove, Grey-crowned Babbler, Double-eyed Fig-Parrot, Powerful Owl, Black-breasted Button-quail, Masked Owl, Sooty Owl, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Brush-tailed Phascogale, Common Planigale, Black-striped Wallaby, Red-legged Pademelon, Yellow-bellied Glider.
