Kyogle is the centre of a lush dairy and mixed farming area on the upper reaches of the Richmond River.

It is surrounded by spectacular mountains that are great to look at, walk and drive around. There are a number of quality tourist accommodation houses and tourist attractions in the area. It is one of the gateway areas to the World Heritage national parks.

Further Information

  • 4WD or trek through the Border Ranges National Park
  • Walk the Murray Scrub walking track amongst the World Heritage rainforest at Toonumbar National Park
  • Bushwalk, do some birdwatching, or simply have a picnic at Moore Park Nature Reserve
  • Explore Tooloom National Park which is one of a number of dominant volcanic features in upper north east New South Wales.
