Ulmarra is a fine example of a 19th Century River port. Located 635km from Sydney and only 12km from Grafton.
Ulmarra is a town of living history, with antiques and art & craft businesses on the Clarence River.
To the un-observing eye this tiny settlement seems uninteresting. However, if you are to turn off the Pacific Highway into River St or Coldstream St, you will find beautiful old buildings and a setting reminiscent of the town's past as a river port.
