Minnie Water is a small coastal village situated 14 km north of Wooli, between the Yuraygir National Park and the Solitary Island Marine Reserve. This isolated holiday destination is ideal for families and others alike and offers the opportunity to camp, dive, fish, sail, surf, swim or walk without a sign of the outside world. A series of reefs and headlands offer sheltered boat launching for offshore craft, and the local surf club patrols Main Beach in the summer months.
Camp at the Illaroo Camping Area, 1 km to the north of Minnie Water where there is a popular and shady picnic and protected overnight campsite.
For the avid walkers, the Angophora Grove Walk begins just south of the rest area and the Rocky Point Walk begins from the same point.
