Mullumbimby

Overview
Bookmark

Mullumbimby is located only a short drive from Byron Bay and is set against the magnificent backdrop of Mount Chincogan and the famous Mount Warning. This is an excellent step-off for exploring the beautiful mountain ranges and hinterland villages, or taking in the lovely deserted beaches that are not too far away.

  • Touted as the "biggest little town in Australia". Mullumbimby being the original 70s hippie village hasn't changed much. It has great organic shops, friendly cafes on the banks of the Brunswick River with Mount Chincogan looming near.

Further Information

  • Take some time out to shop for antiques, arts and crafts, photography and Aboriginal art
  • Relax with a massage or meditate at the Crystal Castle, a 1920's style homestead that sells crystals and offers relaxing massage and meditation
  • Get in touch with the past and see extensive memorabilia at the Brunswick Valley Historical Museum
